Venezuelan opposition goes on with its destabilizing plan “Operation Check to the King”

Caracas, May 10. ABN.- Venezuelan opposition sectors are preparing a destabilizing plan called “Operation Check to the King,” and the idea of creating a national front or a patriotic board with all the opposition factors is getting stronger. For such purpose, there are diverse lines of work to achieve street riots, said this Wednesday the journalist Jose Vicente Rangel.

During a segment of his weekly program “Jose Vicente Hoy,” he reveled diverse aspects of the lines of work of the opposition destabilizing plan, including the organization of military-political commands with a public façade of social purposes, for instance, the security corporations of Antonio Ledezma (current Mayor of Caracas) and the social networks of Leopoldo Lopez (ex Mayor of Chacao, Miranda state municipality).

Furthermore, he said that opposing sectors are boosting their presence in urban and rural communities, in order to activate social demands and promote as many social, labor, educative, transportation and food conflicts as possible.

Moreover, Jose Vicente said that they are trying to generate rumors of economic, financial and banking instability to feed the crisis, as well as stimulate military discontent at any level of the Armed Forces to generate critical insecurity situations, aimed to promote panic and distrust on State security policies and magnify, through mass media, the incidence of crimes in the country.

In addition, Jose Vicente assured that opposition sectors are trying to increase the number of protests in the labor union field, combined with an intense media activity in diverse regions of the country; make scandals with the corruption issue, using any resource, such as “false denounces, discrediting the government and showing it before public opinion like if it were a government of corrupted people.”

Jose Vicente Rangel said that the opposition establishes within its destabilizing plan that “the progressive development of these actions would allow us to build our own sceneries for the final stage of the Operation Check to the King.”

Finally, the journalist labeled the demonstration of May 1, called by the opposition sector, as “one of the most emaciated that we have had. Once again, it was proven the poor power to summon people the right-wing and related parties and labor organizations have.”
