The socialism to save Venezuela and the world from world crisis

Caracas, May 10. ABN.- “The socialism will save China, and we can say that it will save Venezuela and the world, so that we have a big responsibility,” said the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez Frias.

The statements were made during his weekly program “Alo, Presidente,” broadcasted from Barinas state (Venezuela’s west).

Chávez assured that Venezuela and China have a big responsibility in the face of the world crisis that is affecting the countries of the world.

“In the face of the crisis that keeps going on, just a few reliable analysts in the world have said and keep saying that China will pull the world out from this crisis; that without China, the world could not go out from the crisis. They say it from different points of view,” he commented.

Venezuelan Head of State stated that from a historic perspective of the 21st century, it will be decided “if the world is finished or if it will be saved. We must save it. China is playing a huge role to save the world.”

Likewise, he ratified the role of the Bolivarian Revolution: a fundamental contribution to save the humanity and the world.

“The saving of humanity and nature are deeply linked. Between nature and humanity, the human is part of the nature, who can deny it? The nature is part of the human,” he said.

President Chávez made a call to the peoples of the world to walk through the path of socialism, for that reason he welcomed the world crisis, “because the world crisis is the crisis of the capitalism.”

“We must put an interrogation mark in that development model. The peoples of the north, the countries of the north, the peoples of Australia, North America must wake up; and you (China) are doing a great job in that awakening,” he said.

Chavez took advantage of the opportunity to read a press release regarding the financial crisis, published in the Nuevo Diario of Nicaragua, called “La crisis es tambien de modelos economicos” (This is also a crisis of economic models), written by the journalist Reyes Guido, specialist in governmental economy and public finances administration and professor of the Universidad del Valle de Mexico (UBM).

“The year 2009 is really interesting for contemporary history, due to the diverse political, economical and social phenomena taking place in the international field. These phenomena, once the current crisis is overcame, are going to change the economical and social appearance that have supported the plan in the last century,” he concluded.
